GATESPACE TELEMATICS ACQUIRES SECUREON

Gatespace Telematics AB continues to expand and acquires the business from Secureon AB. Secureon is a company specialising in products and services for software license management. The business will be set up as a fully owned subsidiary to Gatespace Telematics and continue to operate under the name "Secureon".

Göteborg, Sweden 16 May 2005 - "The business will continue as usual but now under the umbrella of Gatespace Teleamatics, and we see an emergent Gatespace Telematics as an ideal owner. Secureon's customers can thereby be offered a more extensive range of products and services within this larger organization" says Ingvar Andersson, CEO of Chalmersinvest, the largest owner of Secureon AB. "The owners, the board and personnel are convinced this is good solution for Secureon's long term development, making it possible to meet more deeming customer needs".

Secureon's mission is to provide a platform for flexible software license management. Used by software developers, publishers and Corporate IT managers it lets organisations reduce cost, optimise time, and minimize risk through term based licensing and flexible delivery solutions.

Gatespace Telematics is a leading provider in ubiquitous systems and solutions for multi-service edge devices and provides OSGi based platform technology, leading expertise in distributed systems design, java technology and embedded systems, as well as a supplier of systems and solutions specifically targeted for telematics.
