A: Knopflerfish was founded by Makewave (under the former name Gatespace Telematics) and Erik Wistrand. Makewave is a Swedish company based in Gothenburg.

A: Makewave is the sole distributor of KF Pro, and the additional services included in KF Pro.
Q: Why do I need KF Pro?

Q: Is the source-code included in KF Pro?
A: Yes, the basic functionalities of Knopflerfish are of course included in Knopflerfish Pro as open source. Consult the KF tech-spec for information regarding what functionalities. It is found here.
Q: What are the differences in code between KF and KF Pro?
A: As stated above, there are no differences in the basic code. Although most of the additional services are also provided with their source code, some exceptions in KF Pro and the Pro Editions might occur, meaning that they might be delivered as binaries.
