Knopflerfish Pro is the commercial version of the Knopflerfish open source OSGi distribution. It is a fully supported product, primarily intended for professional use.
Knopflerfish Pro Service Programs are designed to overcome any issues when developing, deploying and operating your Knopflerfish based products or systems. The Knopflerfish Pro Service Programs thereby give companies the assurance required to use open source software in commercial systems.

Q: What is the difference between KF and KF Pro?
A: Since we believe that it is important that our customers are able to fully utilize and evaluate our product throughout a whole research and development phase, the Framework, the Core Services, the Optional Services and Bundles as well as the KF Exclusive Services are exactly the same in both versions - i.e. all of the above listed features are available for free in the Open Source platform Knopflerfish™. Isn’t that nice?..

A: First of all, Certification. With KF Pro your product is certified by OSGi, thus you have certifications that provide incentives for you to use KF in your end product.
